About Us
At Union County Public Schools, we envision a future where every member of our school family is seen, supported, and inspired. Our schools house student-centered learning, rooted in strong community connections, and driven by a culture of leadership and fun at every level. We believe every child should learn at grade level and graduate with purpose. Together, with families, staff, and community partners, we are building a district where students succeed with confidence, character, and bravery.
Serving approximately 2300 students, the Union County School District is dedicated to providing enriching educational opportunities from preschool through grade 12.
In the heart of our communities are our three elementary schools (grades K-5) located in Morganfield, Sturgis, and Uniontown. We also offer preschool classes (ages 3-4) in partnership with Audubon Area Head Start. We operate one middle school (grades 6-8) and one high school (grades 9-12) that are centrally located to equip students from across our county. Our high school campus includes a locally-operated vocational center with specialized career and technical education programs in agriculture, business, computer programming, education, engineering, and health science.
In addition to these offerings, we proudly provide alternative educational opportunities, including a 6-12 alternative school on the high school campus and a technical high school in partnership with the Earle C. Clements Job Corps. These programs ensure that every student has the chance to thrive, regardless of their unique learning journey.
