Preschool Program

UNION COUNTY SCHOOLS make available preschool services for at-risk and developmentally delayed four-year-old children and developmentally delayed three-year-old children. The majority are served through a center-based program, their children are bussed to a half-day session four days a week. This program offers integrated classrooms of children with and without disabilities, in a developmentally appropriate environment. Developmentally Delayed children receive special services, as dictated by the Individual Education Plan, by Early Childhood staff. UCPSHS also offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy to children who qualify.
