UCPS Names New Chief Finance Officer

We’re thrilled to announce that Amanda Davis has been selected as the next Chief Finance Officer for Union County Public Schools! Amanda is a Union County native and veteran of the UCPS Finance Department. She has served in our district for the last 9 years, starting as the UCHS bookkeeper before moving to the central office as the Finance Specialist.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Murray State University. She brings a wealth of experience that combines a practical understanding of financial systems with a genuine dedication to the people of Union County.

“I am honored to accept the role of the Chief Finance Officer for UCPS,” Davis shared. “As a proud Union County graduate, it is a privilege to serve the community that helped shape me. I look forward to continuing to support our students, staff and community - and I'm proud to continue being a BRAVE.”

Superintendent Dr. Terra Hancock highlighted the strengths that Davis offers for her new role.  “Amanda brings experience, commitment, and a deep understanding of our district. Most importantly, she cares about our kids, our staff, our schools, and our community.  I am confident she will serve UCPS well in this role, and I am thankful she said yes to this opportunity.”
