Over the past year, we’ve been working together with community leaders, industry partners, parents, staff members, and students to answer some important questions:
- What do we want all students in Union County Public Schools to know and be able to do?
- What qualities and skills do we expect all students to demonstrate when they graduate?
From those discussions, we’ve developed our new Portrait of a Learner, which we call “Building a Brave." This portrait reflects Union County’s vision for our school system and captures the 5 essential qualities we desire to see developed in all UCPS students.
