“We went to Guatemala today…and we found that Braves Pride is a global phenomenon!”
This week, the freshman AP Human Geography at UCHS launched their agricultural unit with a virtual tour of a coffee plantation by owner Pablo Castaneda in Guatemala! He graciously sent the students coffee for them to try and showed them the coffee process…from plant to product! The students were able to ask questions, see the active volcanos that provide nutrients to the soil, and learn about the humanitarian efforts that the plantation supports.
