Chloe Mayes Serves as Featured Artist at Regional Economic Partnership Meeting

On Thursday, September 28, UCHS sophomore Chloe Mayes was the featured artist at the Annual Meeting and Dinner of the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP).  The event, held at the Ford Center, is the organization’s signature annual event and was attended by nearly 550 regional business executives, community leaders, and statewide decisionmakers.  Chloe had been selected to play an integral role in the program by sharing her artistic talent.

During the gathering, while attendees discussed their vision for the future of the Evansville region, Chloe was asked to create a painting of the Evansville riverfront live onsite, using the paintings of Van Gogh as inspiration.  Chloe completed her painting in the span of three hours, and her artwork is now on display at the E-REP office on Main Street in downtown Evansville.  After being displayed there, the piece will be sold at auction.

Congratulations to Chloe on this unique opportunity to highlight your artistic gift!
