We’re so excited about the first day of school tomorrow, August 16th!
This year’s dismissal times will be different from the last few years. Elementary schools will start at 7:40 am and dismiss at 2:30 pm. Middle school and high school classes will start at 8:00 am and dismiss at 3:00 pm.
To ensure a smooth dismissal process the first few days of school, we will start loading buses at the elementary schools @ 2:00 this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This will allow extra time to ensure all elementary school students find their correct bus number and driver. Since we will start loading buses early on those days, elementary students may arrive at their afternoon drop-off locations early. Middle school and high school students will dismiss at their regular 3 PM dismissal time.
Parents may call our Transportation Department today until 2 PM if you have questions regarding which bus(es) your student will ride, approximate pick-up times, or if you have any changes to your child's transportation since you completed your Online Registration. Our bus garage office number is 270-389-9083. If you have not completed your Online Registration, please do so today to ensure we have the correct transportation and contact information for your child. You may contact your child’s school for assistance.
Our entire staff has been working hard to ensure a smooth and safe start to the school year. We’re excited to welcome our students back to school and we plan to make this the best year ever!
