2010 Scholarship
This scholarship is for a
student whose family is a member of UNION COUNTY FARM
BUREAU and the student is pursuing a career in
agriculture or ag-related business. This Scholarship
can be worth up to $1000, at $250/semester renewable for
4 semesters, as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0
GPA and is in full-time student status. Recipient must
enter college as a beginning freshman no later than the
fall semester following high school graduation, unless
circumstances beyond their control, such as serious
illness or injury, prevents them from doing so. In such
instances, recipient must enter college by the spring
semester the following year, or the award will go to the
first alternate. After recipient accepts the award and
enters college, dropping out of school, except for
serious illness or injury, will cause the recipient to
lose the scholarship. Winners will be required to
furnish a copy of their transcript each semester before
additional funds are sent to their home address.
Presentation of the scholarship will be made during UCHS
Honors Program. Check is presented at the Annual
Meeting. Deadline for Scholarship is April 1. 2010.

Kenergy Scholarship Program for 2009-2010 Academic Year
Kenergy is
awarding up to twenty (20) $500 scholarships to assist
in financing the higher education of students who are
electric customers or students with established primary
residence with the parent or legal guardian who are
electric customers of Kenergy.
Kenergy provides
service in all or portions of Breckinridge, Caldwell,
Crittenden, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins,
Livingston, Lyon, McLean, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Union and
Webster counties in western Kentucky.
Scholarships are available to any eligible student who
will be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or
university, a technical school or proprietary trade
school in the Fall of
2009 or the Spring 2010.

scholarships will be awarded during the Kenergy Annual
Meeting, June 23, 2009 at Henderson County High School.
