Farm Bureau 2010 Scholarship
This scholarship is for a student whose family is a member of UNION COUNTY FARM BUREAU and the student is pursuing a career in agriculture or ag-related business.  This Scholarship can be worth up to $1000, at $250/semester renewable for 4 semesters, as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA and is in full-time student status.  Recipient must enter college as a beginning freshman no later than the fall semester following high school graduation, unless circumstances beyond their control, such as serious illness or injury, prevents them from doing so. In such instances, recipient must enter college by the spring semester the following year, or the award will go to the first alternate.  After recipient accepts the award and enters college, dropping out of school, except for serious illness or injury, will cause the recipient to lose the scholarship.  Winners will be required to furnish a copy of their transcript each semester before additional funds are sent to their home address.  Presentation of the scholarship will be made during UCHS Honors Program.  Check is presented at the Annual Meeting.  Deadline for Scholarship is April 1. 2010.
