Cory Coble Brings Positive Energy to New Role as UCMS Principal

Union County Public Schools is proud to support Mr. Cory Coble as he begins his new role as principal at Union County Middle School.  Mr. Coble is a veteran educator who has worked as a classroom teacher and coach in various school districts.  Most recently, he served as a math teacher at Union County High School and also serves as head coach of the UCHS Bravettes basketball team.  Superintendent Patricia Sheffer shared, “I’m excited we were able to select a strong student-centered, effective leader who will inspire and support our students, teachers, and the entire school community.”

Mr. Coble promises to work tirelessly and put relationships first to build a positive school culture driven by belonging, passion, and a commitment to excellence.  Ultimately, he wants students to enjoy their experience and have pride in their school.  Mr. Coble emphasized, “I will bring positive energy to my role at UCMS and support our staff in creating an excellent place to teach and learn.  We can provide high-quality instruction while developing young people into adults by loving, knowing, and leading them.”

Since officially assuming the principal role on July 1, Mr. Coble has focused his efforts on getting to know all UCMS stakeholders better and collectively developing their hopes for the future of Union County Middle School. He’s looking forward to meeting more students and parents in upcoming events such as 6th Grade Orientation, Open House, and the start of the school year.   If you would like to contact Mr. Coble, you may reach him at [email protected] or (270)389-0224.
